Personally, I'm not a fan of Passion Plays. I didn't see the Passion of the Christ. The rituals I find comforting are things like the Procession of Palms, The Maundy Thursday service of foot-washing and stripping of altars, and the vigil at the altar of repose. That being said, I don't feel the need to make fun of, mock, or deride what someone else finds moving.
