No, I don't time travel but I do study history, and always have.

In the 1700s, Haiti supplied 50% of all Europe's sugar. They were doing so well they were exporting considerably. They were known as the breadbasket of the Caribbean.
And? It was built on the backs of slaves. That kind of dims the achievements. But I'm obviously dealing with someone who feels that slavery is a good thing, so logic isn't really going to work with you.

Trust me, these are not the kinds of people you want to help, except maybe with birth control.
