To get back on topic, that's a decent article, but it's a bit slanted. Nothing it says is wrong, but it places such a large emphasis on "denial therapy" that you'd think that was what the APA's report was all about, when in fact that was a minor sidenote in the report. The APA isn't promoting that sort of therapy, it's just saying that it wouldn't violate the professional ethics code for psychologists to do it, if clients want it and give their informed consent.

The main point of the report was to show that therapy to "make gays straight" doesn't work.
