I really don't want to be the person that does this but she is . . . ahem . . . a confirmed bachlorette, which has long fed rumors that there was a reason for that, which undoubtedly would surface again and again drive social conservatives batty. For whatever reason she has decided to keep her personal life, well personal, for all these years (and there are many besides the obvious), I suspect she will likely want to continue to keep those personal details personal - which ain't going to happen if she's on the ticket.

Again, I don't think this happens because she turns it down.
