Unfortunately, this Qur'an has a lot of modernist interpolations and ideas- otherwise the language is very good.

I very much like Saheeh International, Aisha Bewley's and MAS Abdel Haleem's- but Abdel Haleem's is also modernistic in interpolations in the footnotes. It's still the best reading one.


You know, I've heard multiple people accuse Abdel Haleem of modernist/reformist interpolations, but have never actually seen example of that being done.

Could you please mention some of the ayat or page numbers where he does this? I've read his translation for some of the ayaat where those kinds of things may be expected, but couldn't find anything.
