so basically the jinn was saying we need to be united.

this disunity that we have is because of our different understanding of the deen.

has any amil ever asked a jinn from the salaf as to which is the correct aqeedah and which path should we follow....madhabs or salafism?

Well the jinn was brief and did not talk much. As you may know that there are different jinns, some are muftis, some are normal e.t.c but this was a wali who was with shaykh abdul qadir jilanee (ra), so he was brief. Awliya Allah are thought from their murshid is that when you speak, then speak to the point and not too much.

So in the end in my opnion of what the jinn said, it was not only deeni but normal aswell. Just visit the houses in pakistan and see how much hatred blood brothers, sisters, mother with children, father with children e.t.c have for each other. I have seen alot of this.

And I want to also point out a fact, jelousy is at the peak in pakistan. And thats why there are many many cases of black magic done on people. Even it is on me aswell and my family.

About any 'amil who has asked this, I am not sure. This is what I also want to happen, someone ask a old jinn. Lets make dua that this happens lol.
