What should one do if one has only Quran translations with Arabic AND the spefic local language available? I read that I must teach the non-Muslim about how to do wudu and ghusl - is this absolutely obligatory?

Because I don't think that such a person will fully understand the rules of wudu and ghusl, furthermore it could scare people away from reading Quran if we impose such strict (in the non-Muslim view) rules from the beginning.

Giving Quran to non Muslims is probably the dumbest form of dawah the "intellectual" has come up with as yet.
