No Imam Zaid is a murid. Him and Shaykh Nuh used to be co-murids of Shaykh Abdal Rahman al-Shaghouri. But then Shaykh Nuh became a Shaykh and Imam Zaid did bay`ah to Shaykh Mustafa Turkmani (who just recently passed away). I think Imam Zaid is now bay`ah to Shaykh Shukri. Wa Allahu `Alam.
