Welcome to Reaching out to the Left.

Arguably the biggest threat facing the entire Muslim Ummah (all sects included) is secularism. Many Muslims have been misled in the name of modernism, free speech and thought. This threat is unique as it has the backing of the secular, atheist (and theist) non-muslims who see Islam as the basic threat to their western values. The politics comes afterwards but this is the basic problem they have with us. Just like in the past modernism destroyed the Jewish conservative ideology, atheism defeated Christianity and the Muslims were thrown out of Spain and their Caliphate destroyed in the previous century, the focus of this global movement are now unguarded Muslims the world over.
Using tactics such as evidentialism to show Science as superior to Religion, biased liberal media to portray extremism as equivalent to fundamentalism, severing the connection of the scholars from the layman, export of western education (Macaulayism),funding their mouth-pieces among other things, this global movement is at work destroying Islam as we speak.
We cannot lose. For if we do thousands of lives will be condemned in both this world and the real one of the Hereafter.The onus is on us to help out in any way we can and reach out to the liberal modern muslims. In my research over this area I have found that these secular Muslims do not have basic knowledge of Islam yet feel they have the right to give opinion over everything. It is our duty to reach out to them in every way we can and share the gift of Islam. Not only secular Muslims, this movement can be utilized to reach out non-Muslims as well so they can benefit from Islam too.

This movement is inspired by many things. It is only in its infancy. I would like to thank brother umar_italy and ustaaz Maripat for their wonderful ideas and inspiration. This movement takes its resources from scholars of Islam, and at times knowledgeable brothers and sisters but the emphasis is on referenced and planned articles that hit the jugular.

The basic structure of the arguments posed by this blog follows this pattern:
- refute the human abilities of rationalization and expose the limits of intellect at the outset.
- provide evidence from islamic texts with an attempt at rationalization and extensive use of analogy
- refute the subject's modernistic and unislamic evidence using a combination of common sense, islamic texts ,analogy and rationalization
- finish with references to further reading of works of great scholars.

Important thing to note:
the articles posted stay away from sectarianism and conflicts (either peripheral or serious) within the ummah. you will notice no article directly attempts to discredit barelvis, deobandis, salafis, shias etc. If modernism prevails there will be no practising muslim left in any sect and religion will be hard to follow.
