Certain things can be granted to awliyah ... some being this .. some being able to talk to Prophet saws in an awakened state or to dream Nabi saws every nite and lots of other things. First are foremost we try to remeber death often .. and work on our egos .. whatever else happens Allah knows best I do recognise that awliyah have been given special abilities but this sounds alittle too far fetched, ofcourse with utmost respect to yourself, I do not wish to offend you.

I came across another dilema, in the year 2000 Nazim Al Haqqani was in Syria (I think) and told his people that something was going to happen on so and so date and took all his followers up into a mountain, when the time came, nothing happened. Also, recently I knew a brother to whom I was a good friend. He was a mureed of Nazim Al Haqqani and said that Al Mahdi was going to come in 2006. max 2007. The time came, nothing happened. When ramadan in 2006 was at its end he said if nothing major happens on the last 10 days of Ramadan then Mahdi will come 7 years later, so nothing happened in ramadan and now Al Mahdi is going to come 7 years later. I never heard from the brother after that.
What do you have to say about these events ? I am 100% about the second event, but not too sure about the first, do you have any recall of the event?

I was interested in the Haqqani Order only because they taught Ibn Arabi's works but after these events I don't know what to make of them, so I've kind of backed down. I;ve made Istikhara twice and am certain that Allah will do that which is best for me. I'm still looking for a sheikh but they are very hard to find.
