Alhamdullillah,

This is the method of the Quran and the scholars have said that it is better for a female to keep her name hidden as well, unless there is strict need.

In the Quran, no name of a female is mentioned. They are mentioned in relation to their husbands and so on, "imra'atu firaun, imra'atu lut" etc., be it for pious ladies, or impious ladies. Only Hadhrat Maryam's name is mentioned, out of necessity. The ulama have mentioned that it is to remind the people that Eesa (AS) is Hadhrat Maryam's son. If Allah wanted, He Ta'ala would have mentioned the names of the ladies as well, it would have made no difference to Allah Ta'ala. But this is so that the believers take heed and lesson from it.
