I'm a brother who's going through something very similar, I still haven't told anyone about it so it's a relief to know that there are others that go thru this as well. the advice that fellow brothers/sisters have posted is helpful..may Allah SWT guide us all and protect us from the waswaas and actions of Shaytan and the weaknesses of our nafs.

Can i request some specific dua's that are recommended for such a situation? it would very enlightening
