[I personally like the idea, masha'Allah. I would not want to be in a video but I do watch lectures where the speaker is videotaped however, those who do not want to show in videos could make videos without videotaping - could be the reading of a script (audio) alongside relevant slides (visual) supplemented by written words (textual). There are SF members who make these types of videos - no videotaping; videotaping without showing the person; and videotaping with the person giving a talk.]

To be honest any video without face and a naturally style of talk will do generally less well on youtube. Most people dont want to hear audio alone. You saw that saudi guy. His style of talking. Basically its the first video which probably will irritate the old senile condell.

Converted2ISlam is doing one of the greatest dawah on youtube. His style has improved alot and his videos are very high quality. To make those videos will take alot of effort, time, thought and morale.

I think that SF members still are not enthusiastic to use that platform as yet even if they are well equipped about Islam. Its a platform which for years now has been underutilized. Its a good resource for recorded speeches of scholars. But still as I said custom made videos have their own niche and they are great dawah supplements to the scholars videos.

Anyways can you direct me to the SF members who make youtube videos on Islam which you mentioned.
