I have always found his writings well researched and incisive. People like him are really needed. Put him in touch with your shaykh, may be we will get wonderful results .

The distance between liberals and Shuyukh is rather vast. I can not tell you how difficult it is to talk about Islam to even Aligarh type Muslims. Liberals are even beyond them. We have huge gaps to fill up. In fact even to keep going one will do better by not thinking about these real gaps.
