I have a idea, even though im not a sheikh, but i can repeat what the Masheikh say:
Go out in the path of Allah 3 days, 40 days and 4 months. Give daily time to joila, mashwara, joila intiqali and umoomi=5 Amaal.
If you do this, then sheytan and nafs will inshaAllah not be able to trick you into the dark traps.
