Desire was used in the meaning of urge (Talab).
When you have the urge to do any thing then things start happening, as if on their own.
Just try to remember those moments when you had the urge to do some thing.
You were sort of just gliding on the wings of angels.
Suppose you wanted to buy a new cricket bat. Suppose the urge to buy that was there.
Then things would happen in exactly that way - automatically.

And this urge itself is a blessing of allah (SWT).

Meri ye talab bhi kisi a karam ka sadqa hai
Qadam ye khud nahin uthte, uthaye jaate hain

Even this urge of mine is SomeOne's Grace
Steps to don't proceed, these are made to

So the solution is simple - produce urge, desire, Talab.
And then just glide!
Assalamualaikum,

I think I will bookmark this thread inshallah, so that I can also later on remind and take a lesson from these words.

May I ask hadhrat, are you bayyat to any mashaykh?

Jazakallah.
