Wa aleykum salam
What is youre point? That people shouldnt do any act of worship except for the obligatory and read Quran? Why did the Prophet sall Allah aleihi wa sallam bother teaching us adhkar for evening and morning if it was better to read Quran?

If you dont want to make dhikr thats fine, but dont prevent other people from the baraka of the awrad.
