Are we both watching the same events unfold in Syria? Just where does this "free syrian army" get is weapons from?

At the end of the day though, its the muslims on the ground that suffer, both beligerents here are not looking out for the best interests of the muslims.
Brother,
The FSA receives many of its weapons from Syrian forces they capture or kill, or barracks/bases/stations they overrun. Some weapons have been smuggled in from Iraq, Turkey, Lebanon. As well, many rural fighters already had small firearms or assault rifles.
This accounts for the vast bulk of weapons of all Syrian resistance.

I venture to ask about your sources for information on the Syria conflict?

My sources are from Muslim forums from arabic speaking Muslims who have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd hand accounts in Syria. They corroborate what Syrian fighters and FSA claim to media sources.

Most FSA spokesman in arabic and english ask for money/donations so they can purchase weapons. And the purchase of such weapons would likely occur from smugglers and the black/underground global market, as gun-running is a global industry.
The global industry of gun- smuggling and gun running is well known and has billions behind if, if the buyers have cash.

How reliable is RT, secular liberal pundits, and Bashar sympathetic media sources in their claims that America, the West, or the GCC are funding the majority of arms? Have they seen this themselves? Or are they simply taking the political claims of govt officials?
