Brother, divisions are natural when someone splinters off and claims that they are the right path. Even during the time of the sahaba , there were the khawarij, who claimed to be the true Muslims and everyone else was a kaafir. It is not just something found in Islam, but it is found in almost every single group that has ever existed, from religions, to political parties, to even sports clubs! People will always claim to be upon the truth, even if they are completely wrong. If we do not know, we should endeavor to gain knowledge of the deen and go from there to see who is actually upon the haq.

A sect is formed when there is a division in aqeedah (belief). Ahle Sunnah wal Jama'a is the one who will attain salvation. Forget Shia they are not even in the ballpark.
Neither are the "ahle quran"/Pervaizis.
