Oman is well known in the khaleej for these sorta things, even an Omani friend confirmed it for me, but you will find many Muslims around the world who believe in similar superstitions. I'm not surprised at lay jahil people but when religious people accommodate these beliefs ..it leaves one scratching heir head in disbelief. I'm talking about the belief in Chahel kaaf many people have in this forum.
