the hunted animal is cleaned, I suppose even if the saliva reaches the meat and pores it can still be washed just like a container can be washed after the dogs saliva having been in it.
there will probably be different interpretations depending on the mufti so fatwa shopping will confuse you even more.

correct me if I'm wrong.
