The truth is that most employers are not bad, but the ones that are, too often get away with it.
When a maid commits a crime, the authorities are quick to punish her, with execution sometimes

There was a well publicised case where a Saudi woman tortured a maid to death, and the judge released her because of "lack of evidence", which is BS as no employer will torture in public.
