So it's entirely possible there is technology in place to prevent rain and cause drought.

I doubt the Iranian story until further evidence prevails. But anyone suggesting that largescale manipulation of weather and eco-systems is not being practiced and developed needs to look deeply into the connection between it and BIG multinational businesses.

It called GREED. In modern agri-business, companies are developing GM seeds that require minimul water/rain. The only way to make them a real saleable product is when severe dorughts present themselves - especially pro-longed ones. Money is the end to no amount of evil. This is war, just different means involved.
