To be fair, I know three NYC PRs here (one mulatto, the other two generic Nuyoricans), and all of them only mention their indigenous ancestry. This, and none look triracial. One of the chicks even wanted to get a tattoo which payed homage to the original inhabitants of PR (she looks very west eurasian, but with a very slight modification).

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm not certain whether mainland PRs are always aware of ssa admixture (even when its apparent they have some)?
I think that only happens among some US-born Puerto Rican Americans on the mainland, not on the island.
