This kind of thread is always funny. People who post famous people, who are famous among other things for their beauty, as if somehow those people represent the beauty of a certain group of people, in this case mixed people (which can mean any kind of mix, I presume). Not to mention that people like different things, as always.
Personally, I find Rosie Perez sort of ugly and she's mixed, and she's a woman. I also kind of think certain Brazilian soccer players are ugly - obviously they're men - and they're mixed too.
There are male models who are mixed race, and there are mixed race guys who never could be models. Same for women.
I would even say that sometimes mixed people get the fug element from all sides, which make them extraordinarily fug. Sometimes they become a perfect intermediate, where the features are balanced out, and apparently average/non extreme features are the same as general beauty, according to beauty studies.
Sometimes the visual impact of the features are enhanced instead, such as when a person has the combination of a small jaw and big teeth from different ancestries (doesn't have to be racial). You could say that people are always mixed if their two ancestries look physically very different, no matter which race they think they are. In such a case the result may not be pleasing. In some cases there are even physical incompatibilities which may result in health problems etc.
Seems like a hit and miss affair to me.
I've never heard this thing about mono racial preference among women, and honestly many people like people who are similar to themselves. I don't buy it, unless there's some actual real evidence.
