well i disagree. ours is the greatest rivalry.a freo derby draws the bigger crowd - the largest attendance for this h & a season was the foundation day derby. just because i am a rational person and slighty more enlightened and evolved than the average person (certainly more than any bulldogs or royals follower) does not mean the ep/wp rivalry is greater.i am a freo person ultimately - this might have something to do with this - and souths have provided many great players to my other side (west coast) so my view of them has been softened. no disrespect to ep/wp - but i don't recall to many west coast players coming from either club. sharks and subi have a bit of a rivalry too. i am a child of the 80's - sharks won the 85 gf against subi, lost the 86 gf, we played 2 second semi's in that decade against them, and lost 2 preliminary finals in a row to subi (88 was a heartbreaker like no other - for the following week claremont capitulated) - don't get me wrong - i ain't wishing them too much luck!
