bloody stupid... it stopped me from being able to attend. Why the WAFL would ever play a game on a Sunday directly against another Sunday AFL game at Subiaco pretty much sums up the people who run this comp.

I like a few Sunday games when they are warranted. I wish I could draw up a set of fixtures next year. It would put these knobs to shame & more people would be able to attend, I would bet my life savings on it.
Sorry, I deleted my post before Gassy replied (above). This is the re-do.

Yeh Gassy, fancy being given two tickets to the AFL and then have to sit there and watch the galahs beat the bullfrogs by 123 points. I wouldn't have; but then again I'm a bullfrog supporter.

But seriously, put the blame firmly on the fixturing committee of the WAFL.

For the second time this season (the first was in Round 2 - Friday night and Saturday afternoon), they scheduled 2 matches at Medibank on the same weekend.

Why in the name of all that's sensible couldn't they have switched one of the games on each weekend to the other Club's ground and then switched them back when the two Clubs next played?

In this case, East Perth are next scheduled to play Perth in Round 23 on August 27 at Browne's. Why the two games between these Clubs couldn't have been swapped is anyone's guess.

I'll tell you why not. Because you can't use the word "sensible" and "WAFL" in the same sentence.
