Canadians NEVER burnt down the White House; this is simply anti-American bullshit that became prevalent during the Trudeau era.
Historically it was actually BRITISH REGULARS who burnt down the White House, as Canada did:

A) NOT EXIST

Did too. In fact, it was so good there were two of them, plus the other loyalist colonies.

B) DID NOT HAVE A STANDING ARMY
C) WAS DEFENDED BY: BRITISH GARRISON/FENCIBLES & MILITIA
And the militia came from where, exactly?

At any rate, the 'we burned down the White House' meme was fun for a while. Then some spoil-sport (Che or Imran, IIRC) read a book or something and the fun began to deflate from the balloon. It's still good to yank a chain or two from the look of it though.
