some guy (or other), try to enjoy as wide a range of musical experiences as you can - don't feel limited to just contemporary/avant garde. What's the old saying, "all things in moderation". I know I've been a bit facetious about this, and I apologize, because I know what it's like to have people in strong disagreement with my ideas. It takes courage to stick to one's ideas, and I admire your tenacity as the other poster suggested. But, honestly someguy, you do sound unhappy in your chosen role. You live in the good old USA and there's plenty of reasons right there to enjoy your life in that great country of yours. Widen your range of interests and perhaps you'll find it easier to engage with others and win them over to your point of view. I'm not interested in holding up to ridicule somebody on the internet so I'll go now!! Cheers, D
