I'm tired of waiting for you morons to arrive at the right answer, so I'll just tell you that different types of injuries necessitate different styles of cane usage and that Dr. Gregory House's severe leg injury clearly requires that he use his cane for support on the side of his injured leg. The man is missing a huge chunk of muscle in his leg, for god's sake.
That doesn't make a rat's ass bit of difference. 2 +2= 4, even for the dense doctor, and you.
