Thanks for the diet sheet but that is exactly the one I followed and I stuck to it rigorously. No variations and no cheating. I found it very hard with no milk or butter but I followed it to the letter. It did not work for me which I found very disappointing. I have since spoken to my diabetic nurse and she said several of the nurses at the practice have tried it, with the same results. I am not saying it will not work for anyone. Try it and see. I have also tried the cabbage soup diet in the past, recommender by the British Heart Foundation, and even with that one I only lost five pounds in a week two pounds of which I put back on. I will have a bit of a break this weekend and then hammer it again next week. Fingers crossed This is the lightest I have been since my heart surgery and it works for me by eating very little. I always think that if I am feeling hungry, I am losing weight..
