I do not mind legal immigration, but it should not be made a pawn to get votes. Just enforce the laws already on the books (illegal to enter without permission, illegal to hire someone not authorized to work in this nation, etc.) If some one is caught who has entered illegally place him/her in removal proceedings and allow them to apply for Cancellation of Removal for Non-Permanent residents. If it is a green card holder who has violated the law put him or her in removal proceedings and allow them to apply for cancellation of removal for permanent residents.

We do not need new laws, or new forms of relief. We just need to enforce the current laws and allow those facing removal to apply for the forms of relief currently available.

Oh that's right if we go with what we have we may not get the Hispanic vote. Well ask the average Hispanic waiting to come into this country legally, or those that have waited, if they want fence jumpers to get special treatment they did not.
