I agree that there is a general desire in the US to return to constitutional government, but to give all the credit for that to Ron Paul is foolish. As to his viability as a candidate, the voters in the GOP primaries spoke very clearly on that.

Paul is NOT the main spokesman for constitutionalists, there are many and many with more influence than RP. Just to name four---Limbaugh, Levin, Beck, and Hannity. All have more influence than RP.

I'd be willing to bet that the average Paul supporter knows a hell of a lot more about the constitution and the concept of liberty than the average tea partier.
