We've had this debate before, you and I.

My position is that the US caters to niggers and other minorities.....and it's wrong. It's a waste. It's not helping. It's the very definition of insanity. Other repubs will NOT approach or talk about such things.

Your position is that race isn't to be taken seriously......merit is king. And I agree with part of that.

However, we can't move past shit like this, without address the issue that is the elephant in the room...........RACE.

By refusing to say 'Look, I'm sick of the nigger shit. I'm sick to death of it.'.....you give silent approval to such programs.

You can say.......'look, just stop the fucking bullshit, and get back to the constitution'......but that's only PART of the issue. Why? Because IF that was to happen, and these programs would cease........the public out cry would be huge.......the headlines will read "Niggers hit hardest by massive cuts'.......The repubs would then back off. Don't deny that......because we've got a track record of doing just that.

Following the 'equality' clauses in the constitution, is what has LED to such offices being created.

Race, is central to this. Ending such shenanigans can't happen, until people are willing to say 'Enough of the nigger shines'.

It's not a personal call out to you bigac. It's more of a call out to repubs in general. I just used some of the repubs here at DLP for specifics.

We don't disagree about the ends. I want these offices deleted because they are useless and only foment separation of people by race. There is simply no point for that. These programs are only part of the problem, part of a much larger government sinkhole chartered to help poor people. The problem becomes that we keep the people poor instead of forcing them to do something for themselves. This is true for all races. Yes, it's easy to look at blacks or mexicans and immediately see the color of their skin and their specific sub-culture as the problem. I don't give a shit about that. I want all of those welfare programs ended and all of this concern for the poor ended as a larger push to pare back the role of government in our lives.

Your concern is with courage of conviction. I wouldn't care if somebody called me racist for a specific policy. Many politicians are not cut from that cloth. If a policy makes sense, it makes sense. You have to be willing to stick to your guns. Blaming a race is a quick way to gin up opposition to anything that you do. I'd much rather talk about the whole problem of coddling the poor and not give anybody any ammo to get the sympathy of stupid people on their side.
