I'm against it because it's a matter of public health. It's no different from the laws we have in place that outlaw murder or rape.

They're only American citizens. They are not true Americans. True Americans do not break the law or do something to corrupt the American way of life.
Let me get this straight, from the look of what you said. You're possibly equivicating someone smoking pot with the crimes of murder, or rape? It would also appear you might equivicate anything which goes against public health as a capital offense as well. Someone smokes a cigarette, and they are a criminal. They spit on the sidewalk, blow their nose in public if they have a cold, etc. and it's a criminal act.

Then we look at "true Americans" never break laws, or ever do anything corrupt, or else they're not true Americans.

So much for those bad folk who started the American Revolution, and damn all those Southerners for trying to break away from the Union.

Guess me, and my occassional batch of shine are double damned. My neighbor found a big patch of 'weed' on his property, and asked me what he should do. I told him it wasn't any of my concern, but since he asked I figured he could burn the patch, harvest it for whatever use, or call the law if he wanted to become well known to them. Guess I'm not a true American because I should have turned him in for not calling the law right off the bat.

By the way, were's towel boy? I'm shocked the recreational stoner is not already involved in this thread.

I hate pot, and can't stand the smell of the damn smoke. Yet it appears I'm basically on the same side as the stoners.
