Ron Paul may be the most conservative by your definition, Hoffa. But he has no chance, and his stance on defense kills him with many conservatives.

I'm with Rocat. I can't stand the idea of seeing another 4 years of Obama. And with someone in the Oval Office from the same party, the Republicans holding control of the Congress (and hopefully the Senate after the 2012 elections) would be able to get some of their plans accomplished. They can't do that with Obama in there. has signed on to support the Paul Ryan plan. Gingrich disparaged it months ago, so he would fight Paul. I'd rather see someone in the Oval Office who would work with Ryan and people like him.
