Good point. Very good point.

I suppose if the money didn't go to other people, you could make the case. Like if the money went to infrastructure or something, that improved everyone's standard of living...
Possibly...but I think the bottom line of any type of punishment program aimed at the 'rich'...is that it will not 'fix' anything.

My grandma used to say for 90% of the world....if you took ALL the money, and divided it up equally....that 90% would be right where they are within 5 years.

The broke, deadbeats, and money wasters, would still be broke....and those that had worked hard, would be about where they were before.

I think there is a LOT of truth to that.

Taking the money from someone who's earned it...will just punish them. It won't 'FIX' those that can't control their own actions and spending patterns.
