Both were inappropriate. I honestly don't know how one would "compare" them. Wrong is wrong.

Rush did not call Fluke a slut, he said that in his day a girl who had sex that much was either a slut or a prostitute.

Mahr called Palin a cunt, bitch, slut, adulterer, and whore. Mahr called Bachman and Malkin sluts, cunts, and idiots.

Yes, wrong is wrong, but there are various degrees of wrongness. If you cannnot see the difference you are not looking.
