Skilled and educated people are working, always have been. What has been slow to grow are jobs for the unskilled who have no degree.
What I am saying is that there has been a massive change from two years ago. People may have been working, but they were on shortened hours or taking paycuts, etc, and they were looking around. Skilled tradesmen were a dime a dozen. Now, you can't find one. They're all happily employed, from what I can tell.

In other words, the economy is heating up, at least as far as construction goes, in my area...
