I agree with you that he is a lying piece of trash and needs to go, but the alternatives being offered, while better, are not much of an improvement. Until the welfare mentality is driven out of peoples heads and it is not used as a tool by politicians nothing is going to change.

It can rarely be "driven out". Many people (mostly blacks) are raised in an atmosphere of learned helplessness. A childs value programming years are approximately between the ages of 8-12 and those values for the most part are formed in their entirity by the age of 16-17. Learned Helplessness is not something that can simply be driven out of a person. LH is a very deep rooted condition. That is why you have generation upon generation of families that truly believe their well being lies within the hands of others or within the hands of the govt.. A few break out of the cycle but they are the exception rather than the rule, as you know.
