Mormons have taken a huge departure from traditional Christian faith , they have thier own little pseudo prophet !
Rather bold and disgusting all at the same time.

Everyone has their 'own prophet' now matter what religious belief you might choose to follow. The Mormons choose to interpret Christianity in their own, albeit somewhat odd to a number of people, unique way. As for it being bold I can see your point, but as for it being disgusting I would disagree. Religion is similar to politics insofar as people will believe in whatever form of religion they choose same as they'll vote for whoever suits their fancy with rational thought often not being part of said choice.

I'm not a Mormon by the way, but I remember having been laid off once, and having to move out from a rental I was living in at the time. A old Mormon & his Wife who lived next door to me told me I could stay with them. They helped me when I needed help by giving me a food & shelter for two months till I got back on my feet financially. I've never forgot that, and I never will.
