It was obvious to any honest individual who has read Alinsky that the attacks on the Tea Party were, and are, classic Alinsky, Isolate/Immobilize/Attack, and arbitrary tactics of 'ends justify the means' while holding your opponent to their own rules.

Dagney's attack there was a part of that ongoing pogrom.
