Not sure where he was going with that one, I've had dogs of all sizes. Problem is that the bigger the dog the shorter the life span. I've had great danes who fell over dead at 7 years old, It's hard to go thru that because I love my dogs. I decided to go with the smaller breeds, I have a Chi now but then the problem is that after 16 years, is it like your own child. In the end, yes they are mans best friend, and yes you love them but you cant prolong the life of anything. Not even your own.
