Despite of the usual election year hyperbole about turning points, the future of America, blah blah blah, etc., I can't help but feel that this time it's more of a referendum on the survival of America as a constitutional republic vs european style socialism...a very real fork in the road.

It is. I agree 100%.

Yet if both parties lead straight to the slaughter house......I'm not going to vote for them.

And that's how I see us....dims and repubs wanting the same destination.....
