Have you read any of Das Kapital or The Communist Manifesto?

I started the Communist Manifesto and was quickly bored to tears. Didn't get very far. Started skimming and moved to cliff's notes. I simply don't have the patience or attention span for such silliness. Couldn't make it through the original version of Moby Dick or Last of the Mohicans, if that makes you feel any better.
