did not invent it. the majority of the citizens of Mass and its legislature passed it. I guess he could have vetoed it, but how is that going along with the will of the people he represented? He was governor of a liberal democrat state, they voted for state run medical care. To put it all on him is ignoring the facts.

I would have vetoed it, with no hesitation.

You don't go against your foundational principles, for the "will of the people".

This casts a big question mark on a presidency, as far as I am concerned.
