Spliff, just curious - how will Newt Gingrich repeal it? With a simple stroke of a pen? Newt was all for a national mandate - you do know that, right? And a decade before did it in MA, too.

did it in MA, and nowhere else. If conservatives say states should have their own programs of this type (dictatrorial in application? you do know it looked nothing like his original plan by the time the legislature in MA got their hands on it, yes?), why would any conservative presume to comment on what a state imposes on itself, not impacting those of us who don't live there in any way?
