Newt was in favor of the mandate. His position was already clear.

So what you're saying Spliff is that you think Romey, if elected as POTUS, will get in office and immediately shut down the GOP-controlled Congress (and hopefully GOP-controlled Senate) when they come to him to start whacking away at Obamacare, thereby ensuring that his chances of a second term are 0 percent. That's his plan? wants the job for only one term?

Just curious why you think that. Because that's the reality - and you'd have to be a fool not to know that. knows it too. If the Congress is hell-bent on ripping apart Obamacare with a Republican President, that Republican President will go along with them.

Please convince me why would oppose his own party in this situation, intentionally defeating a chance at re-election.
