The dispute right now is that the Fed is trying to quash attempts by the States to require photo ID. So saying "you can't have a law for it because there's no law against it'' sounds pretty fucking stupid... wouldn't you agree?

This is the same DOJ that had no problem with the black panthers intimidating voters in front of a polling place. Not the least bit surprising.
