...that support the problem(s), set of problems, or making the budget a lesser problem, in addition to changing through federal, state, and/or local purchasing & personnel decisions that LEAD to better taxpayer treasury(ies) management...

...then that politician(s) and platform is the problem.

Don't mistake corruption or pretermit for an episode of "simple honest incompetence" and don't be afraid to fire someone for any reason.

The given office has the visibility and the power.

I think there should be more protest everywhere there is even the slightest speculation of corruption, pretermit, or incompetence being used as an excuse.

We're doing away with the dismissive attitude of the populace at large. Apathy is often a product of ignorance in those (mentally disenfranchised) citizens who have no experience in any state involvement or contract relationship.

Now we have this thing called technology.

Technology makes things easier. Record/book keeping for example.

Technology also caters to frustration in that; when it doesn't produce, people wait for it to reactivate.

How often have you told your clients that "the computers are down" so you can't obtain that information right away?

This is a bullet that disintegrates the ability to deny and omit.
